Being Sustainable by Art

Those dedicated to what we call art

stir emotions, by craft or reflection

and succeed to fill cavities in the hearts,

open to welcome new perceptions

They might ignite, creating flames,

in the centre of a mind or soul,

fit to light a road when on the way

to find or reach a final goal

Fostering feeling and awareness

beyond the naked face of matter

conveying that sustainable beauty

is an essential part of humanity

But the new prophets of sustainability

only ponder about the food we eat,

the fluids we drink, the air we breathe

reducing man to a composition of meat,

because they deny existence is poetry
