After The Last Day Of December

Remember that a day like the last

day of december is not special

because of the position of stars.

A day is made special because

of what we connect to the moment

defined as a day on a calendar.

We decorate days to remember

events, to focus our attention and

to specify beginnings or endings

and we selected many dates to

celebrate for one of the reasons

we found to make these special.

So, respect the magic we create

and celebrate new year’s day as a start

after the closure on the day before.
